PR and Marketing Intern

As a PR and Social Media Intern at Healing Lifestyles, I played a crucial role in promoting and reviewing products for the brand’s 15th Annual Earth Day Beauty Awards, focusing on clean skincare. I created engaging social media posts and graphics to highlight the nominated products, boosting awareness and excitement for the event. By managing and monitoring the brand’s social media accounts, I enhanced our online presence and reputation. My efforts in public relations led to coverage in leading health and wellness publications, further establishing the brand's credibility. Additionally, I cultivated relationships with influencers and partners to expand our reach and provided analytics-based performance reports to optimize our strategies. This experience allowed me to effectively blend content creation, social media management, and PR to support a significant brand event.

Kohl's Intern projects

Assistant Merchant Intern

During my internship at Kohl’s, I participated in an intern competition where interns from all sectors collaborated in teams to develop innovative ideas for the company. Our final presentation, titled "Kohl’s x Chamberlain Coffee," included a comprehensive plan for a new collaboration with Chamberlain Coffee. The presentation covered various aspects such as consumer needs, insights from initial market research, production and distribution strategies, a detailed product line, financial projections, and an integrated marketing strategy. We aimed to leverage Chamberlain Coffee’s trendy and sustainable brand to attract Gen Z consumers, proposing exclusive apparel and coffee products to drive foot and web traffic. This project highlighted our ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking to present a compelling business proposal.

For my final intern strategy project, I developed a plan to enhance Kohl's graphic tee segment. This included a market analysis identifying trends like minimalistic graphics, nostalgia, sustainable designs, and pop culture references to appeal to our target audience. I conducted a competitor analysis to highlight how Kohl's can improve in-store and digital outfitting for a more engaging shopping experience. My visual merchandising proposals included dynamic displays of trending designs and creating a comfortable, visually appealing shopping space. For digital marketing, I recommended influencer collaborations, user-generated content, and inclusive styling tips to boost online presence. Lastly, I suggested new capsule collections, such as nature-themed and nostalgia-inspired designs, to stay on trend and attract diverse customers. Key takeaways emphasized lifestyle-focused marketing, inclusive shopping experiences, and continuous product innovation to keep Kohl's competitive.
